I love Rory and Amy because the story of their relationship doesn’t end with them getting together, or getting married, the way so many do. We see them living and loving and growing and failing but trying again WITHIN THEIR MARRIAGE. So often, TV and films show a couple getting together or getting married and that’s the “happy ending” and we’re supposed to act like everything is static after that, but getting married is just the beginning and we really see that with Rory and Amy.
