This is a fantastic post full of truth and I like it a lot.
(Additionally I have never understood why it was okay for everyone to call Rory ‘Mr. Pond’ and ‘Rory Pond’ despite his repeated insistence that it was Williams, and even deride his last name when he showed disappointment that his own daughter didn’t get to share it, but call Amy ‘Amy Williams’ just once and everyone throws a shitfit and screams misogyny. Double standards, you need to check them,)

Doctor Who - Amy and Rory’s House (The Impossible Astronaut) for The Sims 3
So I made a house in The Sims 3 based off Amy and Rory’s house as seen as the beginning of ‘The Impossible Astronaut’. I used screencaps from the episode and a floorplan of a house in the same row as the one use for filming (plus Google Maps Satellite View) as reference. Since we only see the lounge, kitchen, and part of the front entry in the episode, I used my imagination for the rest. The master bedroom I based off Amy’s room as seen in the flashback scene of ‘Let’s Kill Hitler’; the exterior of the house is based off the exterior of the house used for filming—a typical British semi-detached (or, in this case, detached) house.
I tried to decorate the inside to match the show as closely as possible.
This was finished before The Power of Three aired, so I might go back and redecorate one of the bedrooms to match that episode.
This house is extremely CC-heavy and I’ve never offered up any CC of my own for download, but I’d like to do so with this house if anyone’s interested. I’m just not sure how I should go about doing it, since it’s so loaded with CC. Any suggestions?
